Alt Delegate

I hope this report finds you in good Health and spirit. It’s the week before the Area 46 Service Forum. And this past Tuesday we had a practice for most of the cohost ,moderators and others involved with the Forum. I couldn’t help but feel emotional that so many people came together to serve in the forum. After all the service forum is a day of break out sessions and workshops on how to do Service in many different areas of Alcoholics Anonymous. We have newcomers to service at the Area Level and  oldtimers who have been around a few years.. But how did it all come together? The first one was about Five years ago and this is the Third one but we have to give Credit to.the Forum Committee who worked on the Second one and did a great job in doing the footwork to make the Area forum a Biyearly event. It started with the Past  Alt Delegate Bill L the Hosting District 18. It is now one of the duties of the elected Alt Delegate  to be Co Chair of the Service Forum. Then a district must come forward and be willing to be a hosting District. Thank you District 3 and Gary J DCM  for coming forward and putting in a Bid to be hosting District . Out of the hosting District comes the Service Forum chair and thank you Kerri K for stepping up and also for your other service positions. Then came the Committees followed by the Committees chair speakers, presenter, moderators, co host and Volunteers, Not to forget the Forum Committee Secretary, Treasure Tech chiar all from Area 46. All giving of themselves to pass the message of recovery. This is the reason I became emotional . So if you are new in recovery the Big book of Alcoholics Anonymous says in page    PG 89 – Practical Experience shows nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics,
