Hello Area 46!
The General Service conference was held in Brooklyn, New York April 24-30. I am so looking forward to the Delegate’s report that Eloy, Area 46 Delegate, will put together for us. If your district has not yet scheduled a delegate’s report, please reach out to Eloy and get it scheduled for your district. This report is the best way for GSRs in each district to communicate to their groups what took place at this year’s General Service Conference.

Like the Area 46 Service Forum, the Southwest Regional A.A. Service Assembly is an opportunity to learn and share about the General Service Structure at the group, district, area, and conference levels, and to share information on the trusted service positions within that framework.
Every A.A. member can attend SWRAASA. You do not have to have ever held a service position. SWRAASA is a great weekend to learn more about service work and carrying the message of AA.
It is a three-day meeting of general sessions as well as workshops with speakers and sharing from the floor. Workshops could include AA History, Archives, Area Chair, Area Assemblies, Bridge the Gap, Conventions, Corrections, DCM, Delegate/Alt. Delegate, GSRs, Website, Traditions, CPC, Service Sponsorship, Concepts etc.
SWRAASA – Get on the Bus!
As I mentioned at the 2022 March Assembly, my goal is to take a busload of current, future and past A.A. members in service. This way we could all ride together to, and from, Tulsa!
Since we have such a big state, for some, it would require travel to Albuquerque to catch the bus. We need 56 people to fill the bus. If all who expressed interest at the March assembly still plan to ride the bus, we are a little over 40% full already! Please follow the link below to complete a simple form I created to reserve your spot on the bus. Completing this form does NOT commit you to anything yet, it is just a way to determine how many people are interested in jumping on the bus!
