Hello fellow AAs,
I am honored to be serving as the Area 46 CPC Chair and am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve Area 46, the Districts and AA Groups all across New Mexico! If it be God’s will for me, I hope to continue a very long and proud tradition in AA by continuing to build and foster good working relationships with the Professional Community.
District 12 CPCs had an opportunity in July 2022 to meet with ten UNM Medical Students and do a CPC Workshop with them. It was an amazing experience. I was so inspired by the genuine interest these students were taking in Alcoholism and in how AA has helped millions recover from Alcoholism. They were eager to learn and listen to how and why AA has worked for so many where all other attempts to stop drinking had failed. Afterwards, they attended an open AA meeting. They got to hear first hand the experience, strength and hope from recovered and recovering alcoholics and how AA has changed their lives for the better!
I’m pleased to announce that we will be holding monthly CPC Committee Meetings the second Monday of the month at 7pm on Zoom.
