Thank you District 10, Kerri K. and Tech Team for well executed Assembly, Service at it is best. This was my 4th Assembly I have attend-ed and my rookie year in service has past and I must say this one was very humbling. Full of a lot of spiritual growth in the fellowship and it kicked off with the sharing of the Friday night speaker and her gift of staying in the middle of the AA pro-gram. To surround myself with AA members that fallow the 36 principles, which is exactly what has happened to me this past year by serving as your Bilingual Chair in Area 46.
The Bilingual Committee meeting went well, Thomas H., Ray R. and Robbin T. were present, after the meeting opened, I gave a brief report on the activities the committee has been part of, including the ongoing participation on the Ad Hoc Committee about the Books and the Service Forum 2021 program.
The rest of the meeting was focused on the technology part on how we are doing our service via the virtual world. We came with the solution that we needed a couple of Blue-tooth noise reduction headphones that connect to our laptop computers. We came up with a motion, that later that day I presented to the Area and approved on Sunday. I had the privilege of being guided with great willingness by the Committee in writing and presenting my first motion.
What great Spiritual experience I had at the “Taste of SWRAASA” being part and listening at the other panelist gave a new meaning to my recovery and the Traditions. To top it off the voting, the minority vote and opinion and what they truly mean and seeing them work right in front of my eyes was a confirmation that I am at the right place with the right people doing right thing.
Thank you for letting me be of Service and come Join us on the first Tuesday of January at 7:00 p.m. Feliz Navidad.
