Hola Area 46.
First, let me start with an apology for missing last month’s Elf’s Report. As I explore the reasons why I had missed the date line with my report the list grew longer and longer, as I wrote them down in their own category, thought to me at my Birth Group the sobriety balance between home, service, spirituality and fun in healthy judgment. As a result of a imbalance in all aspects of life during the last week of March and the first 2 weeks of April I had missed writing my Report, which at first thought I was disappointed with myself, then realized that the ones affected by this were the members that depend on the Monthly Farolito Report to stay informed of what is going on around Area 46. This will be a great Topic at our Service Forum Home Group Service Balance vs Burn out.
The Bilingual Committee has continued to be part of the 2021 Service Forum coming up in July with the program committee. We are almost done, and the real works begins for the Bilingual Committee by reaching out to our neighboring Area’s in Colorado, Arizona and Texas to invite them to our June Convention, and our Service Forum in July to participate if possible, with translation from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
We were present at this month’s Ad Hoc about the books and have my part of service for the next few months. I have been working on the translation on material for June’s Area 46 2021 Convention. Our monthly Committee meeting was kind of small but great because it gave
us time to review our short time goals, which are building a bridge with other bilingual committees around our South West Region.
