Wishing you all a Happy New Year! As we look back and reflect on 2020, may we count our blessings, especially that we are part of an awe-some program that keeps us on the right track to maintain and sustain our sobriety. As members of AA, we get to work the program in efforts to pass on what has been freely given to us – “You can’t keep it unless you give it away.”
Service opportunities have been limited during the pandemic; how–ever, CPC committee around the USA are working diligently to see how they can carry the message to the still suffering alcoholic. Here are some ideas on ways CPC commit–tees can reach out to professionals during the pandemic:
- Putting ads in Attorney, Doctor, Dental and other Professional Magazines.
- Research which professionals have Magazines and bulletins to inquiry about costs; Getting e-books of Big Book and 12&12 into local and university libraries;
- Donate soft covered Big Books, 12×12, and audio Big Books to prisons;
- Making business cards with the 24-hour hotlines on them and put them in grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, bars, and more;
- Hotels and Casinos see if they will allow us to put cards or pamphlets in their places;
- Zoom presentations for doctors, nurses, med students.
