CPC Report

As we say here in northern New Mexico: Buenos Dias le de Dios/My God/HP Grant You Good Days! Working with Professionals: From the beginning, AA has depended on good community relations to keep it’s “helping hands” informed and ready. Here are some ways we tell others about AA and keep the friends of AA working with us:

  • Members of this committee keep updated lists of local open AA meetings to provide to professionals.
  • Send emails and form letters to create awareness of AA and the resources we have to offer.
  • Provide displays and presentations at professional meetings and conferences.

Interested in helping? Here is what you can do today:

  • Bring A.A. literature to your family doctor.
  • Are you a professional? Volunteer to speak to others within your chosen profession.
  • Drop a quiet word in the ear of your priest, pastor, rabbi, that an AA member is available to the congregation.

Lastly, I would like to encourage folks to attend the “Virtual” NM AA Service Forum, July 24th from 9am to 4pm. You can register on the Area 46 website. This Forum will give you an opportunity to learn about the different service opportunities including CPC. Hope to see you there!

For more information on CPC, I welcome you to join the Area 46 monthly CPC Committee.
