Happy April 2021! Another Day Sober, by the Grace of God & A.A.! When all else fails, they say jump into services work. Services opportunities to cooperate with nonalcoholic professionals is an effective way to carry the message to the suffering alcoholic. Such people often meet the alcoholic in places where A.A. is not present.
The Area 46 CPC Committee met on March 1st and there was a presentation of a Newcomers Digital Packet from District 14 (Taos area) that provides links for pamphlets such as “A Newcomer Asks” and others. It also offers a link to the local District meeting schedule as well as links to GSO national websites. For an example, please contact me.
As we prepare for the upcoming “Area 46 Pre-Conference Assembly,” taking place March 27th & 28th Online, the CPC Committee will be meeting at 10:05am to 10:55am. Between now and the beginning of April our Delegate, Bill L. will be gathering information from all Standing Committees to take to the 71st General Service Conference. The Area 46 CPC Committee is tasked to discuss 1. the progress of the LinkedIn page implementation; 2. consider a request to create a format of CPC Kit and workbook; 3. review contents and format of CPC kit and workbook; and 4. review draft update of the pamphlet “Members of the Clergy ask about Alcoholics Anonymous.”
