Hello from Northeastern New Mexico, District #6. Our last district meeting was held March 6, 2021 on Zoom chaired by DCM Paul G. We had representatives from Sunshine Group, Highlands Happy Hour, Land of Enchantment, El Grupo De Valle, Early Birds and Zooming Into Sobriety.
District #6 is holding a December 2021 Assembly Committee meeting on Zoom every third Thursday at 7:00 PM. Anyone interested in participating can contact Cody at codycmorrow@msn.com.
DCM Paul reported that he is holding a Traditions workshop on the Fourth Wednesday of each month, which began on March 24,
and will occur again on April 28th at 7:00 PM on Zoom. To attend the workshop use ID 315 319 2329 with passcode 1234.
Sherri D. is our new Literature representative. She will attend the literature/ADOC the 1st Thursday of each month. Kathleen requested that Group Service Representatives provide information or
pictures that would represent their group for the new website.
Zooming Into Sobriety will host a virtual speaker/birthday meeting the last Wednesday of each month. Julian W. will be the guest speaker on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at noon on Zoom. ID# 819 199 9486 with no passcode. Zooming Into Sobriety is holding a Zoom meeting every Monday through Friday at noon with a book study meeting every Tuesday. Highlands Happy Hour holds meetings on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at noon. The group also having meetings on Monday at 5 pm and Wednesday at 7:30 pm. A new book study is coming soon on Friday at 7:30 pm. Meetings are held in the Sala de Madrid room at NMHU. The new location on the New Mexico Highlands University campus is working out very well with the attendance of several newcomers.
Land of Enchantment is holding Zoom meetings every evening at 6:00 PM as it continues to hold hybrid in-person and Zoom meetings at the First United Methodist Church in Raton at 6:00 PM every Sunday and Wednesday. The Friday hybrid meeting, which is both in person and on Zoom is at 7:30 PM. To join the Zoom meeting, please use ID 315 319 2329 passcode: 1234. Land of Enchantment holds its group conscience meeting at the church every first Sunday of the month at 5:30 PM and can be joined in person or by access with the same ID and passcode.
The Clayton Sunshine group is attending the Land of Enchantment Zoom meetings until they are able to meet in person.
