Hello Friends,
As we’re working our way through fall and some pleasantly cool mornings filled with hot air balloons in the Albuquerque area, I’ve been reflecting on the wonderful life I’ve been given in sobriety and how grateful I am to be of service with all of you. Service has been a key part of keeping me rightsized and maintaining my spiritual condition. Thank you.
For the Hybrid Event Production (HEP) Committee, we’re planning out the rest of the year and working to improve upcoming events for all participants. To that end, I need your help. If you’re going to be at the December Assembly in Taos and are willing to assist during a breakout meeting, please let me know. The last Assembly we received feedback that the hybrid breakouts had some struggles and that we could do better with supporting those. In an ideal world, I would have a “hybrid helper” in each breakout to assist with some simple tasks – making sure the microphone is unmuted, letting the facilitator know when people on zoom have questions, etc. If you’re willing to help with that – even if just for one breakout session – please let me know!
Looking ahead, the HEP Committee will not be meeting in November as the meeting conflicts with the Thanksgiving holiday and the December meeting will be an out-of-cycle meeting where we will have an after-action for the December Assembly.
In Love and Service,
Andy S.
Chair, Hybrid Event Production Committee, Area 46
