Greetings from El Farolito,
Many activities have been scheduled for the summer. Announcements with great looking flyers are in the back of ELF. There clearly is an opportunity to meet AA Friends and make new acquaintances as you travel to exciting locations with great food, AA hospitality, meetings and fun activities. Don’t miss out on the new opportunities to expand you AA Circle.
- The El Farolito is reaching readership of 638; 305 emails and 3 print copies.
- Emails are being read at the rate of 52% and we continue to receive new subscriptions.
- Recipients that the AIP advises to send the print copies to are: Panel Members, Officers, Committee Members, DCMs and GSR.
- Berna (Registrar) and I have synched up this year to trade information. The Area 46 Directory is a wonderful document to stay in touch with others.
The downside is that ELF has received $3765 in contributions but has paid out $4503 leaving a deficit for the year of $738. Last month Elf took $718 out of reserves, leaving $1469. If we continue with this level of contribution which averages to $753 a month, we will only be able to print 1 more issue of ELF.
Last month ELF received $239. These overall contributions are only being made by 8% of the groups. I thank those who are faithful in contributing. I state this so you will know that this is difficult time for ELF.
Please get with your groups DCM’s and encourage them to support this 54-year- old tradition.
Respectfully Submitted,
Candy, ELF Editor, elfarolito@dev.aa-nia.org
