Greetings Area 46
I hope this report finds you in good health and spirit. Allow me to introduce myself. My home group is Happy Valley grp Los Lunas in District 3. I served as a GSR ,District 3 Alternate DCM, and DCM three Area Committee Chairs plus Alternate Area Chair and Area Chair. .I am extremely grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to serve as Area 46 Panel 72 Delegate. The last two years were difficult and trying. Alcoholic Anonymous was put to the test as we learned to navigate the world of zoom. Which brings me to acknowledge our newest past Delegate Bill L. Thank you Bill for doing such a great Job during this covid time and the loss of your Mom as you represented Area 46 as our Delegate. So far the only communication I have received from the Conference is a welcome as Delegate. As I write this report I wait to be assigned a Conference Committee.and wait to see what the final conference agenda will look like. As my rotation starts I must remember to put my own opinions to the side and speak as the voice of the whole Area 46 Group Conscience. I want to say welcome to all new GSR ,DCM and Area 46 Trusted Servants as we trudge together as panel 72 servants. Let’s keep an open mind and be the voice of reason but learn to listen to the Minority opinion. On Monday November 29 Jimmy D our South West Region Trustee met with The Delegates and Alt Delegates from the Southwest Region he introduced the Panel 72 Delegates and Alternate Delegates and also gave a report on the General Service Board meetings. one thing he made very clear is that the panel 72 Delegates are not conference members until January 1st 2022. And I believe then I will have my Committee assignment and start to receive all the 2022 Conference material.
