Greetings!
District 14 is alive and kicking! We are getting our service positions filled; committees staffed; groups are electing GSRs and those GSRs are attending our District 14 meeting! YAHOO!!!
We are so pleased to see so many people in service in AA again!
Our District inventory in March was a success and we have been implementing recommendations from the inventory over the last couple of months. Thank you to Jen N. and Athena for your guidance and support in this endeavor. It would not have been possible without your help. We learned so much about how we can reunify our district.
District 14 hosted a Founder’s Day picnic in June and it was a wonderful and well attended event. District 14 provided grill fare while our fellowship served up a delicious potluck. The event wrapped up with an open AA meeting during which we shared on the topic “Joy in Fellowship.” The weather was beautiful and the fellowship fabulous! Thank you to everyone that participated.
Our next District 14 special event is already scheduled! On July 30, we will receive the Area 46 Delegate report on the 2022 General Service Conference. Thank you Eloy for being flexible and willing to come to Taos on this day. We will enjoy the Delegate report from 10:300 to noon or so and afterward we will have a potluck lunch. If you are in District 14 or happen to be passing through Taos, do stop by for this special event. We are all looking forward to hearing the latest from GSO and AAWS!
Thank you to everyone for working hard to reunify our district! We have so much to be grateful for in District 14!
In Service,
Renee L. DCM District 14
