At the time of writing this, the Delegate’s Town Hall #4/Plain Language Big Book Information Session co-hosted by the literature committee is taking place tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to learning about the history of this project as well as hearing feedback from our Area Fellowship.
At our upcoming March meeting, the literature committee is going to discuss questions about the Founders’ writings as well as two other General Service Conference Agenda Items assigned by the area to the Literature Committee. We will also be discussing the Agenda Items at the Literature Committee meeting that will take place at the upcoming Area Assembly on April 6-7. Please join us at the Assembly if you would like to participate!
One of the literature committee’s goals for this rotation is to create new literature displays. If you would like to be involved in this project, please join us at our committee meetings!
The literature committee would like to make a donation of several pieces of literature within our Area where there is a need. The pamphlet “Frequently Asked Questions about AA” is available in Braille as a donation. Also available are several copies of audio disc 12 of “Alcoholics Anonymous” in Navajo. If you are in need of either of these resources, please contact literature@dev.aa-nia.org. These titles and several others will also be available for donation at the upcoming Assembly in April.
