Greetings Area 46
I hope this Report finds you in good health and Spirit. I asked our Area Registra Gary J to send out a communication Email to inform everyone that the digital version of the conference Final Report is posted in the password protected service side of our Area website.
The printed version of the conference Final Report will hopefully be sent in October. Far better than December as we were previously told.
I am hoping to distribute the Printed version of the Conference Final report at the Area 46 December Assembly down in Carlsbad NM.
Since the August Assembly I have been busy criss crossing this beautiful State of ours visiting Districts to give the 72nd Conference report. It is awesome to come to your Districts to visit with old friends and to meet new ones. There are districts that have scheduled a report in the weeks to come and I can’t wait to come visit. But still there are a few Districts that have not scheduled a Delegates conference report yet and I am asking those DCMs to please get with me. We still have time.
On another note The South West Region Delegates and Alt Delegates including Kerri and I met with Jimmy D our South West Region Trustee for the Trustee report.
Jimmy’s term will be coming to an end at the 73rd General Service Conference and we will elect a new Southwest Region Trustee at the same Conference from Candidates from Areas in the South West Region including Area 46 .
We will be having Elections for Area 46 Candidate for the Trustee position At the Area 46 December Assembly in Carlsbad i am asking all groups to send a GSR to the Assembly Who knows you might be Electing our South West Region Trustee.
Also I want to keep Reminding everyone about the call for Stories for the Fifth edition of the Big Book Alcoholic Anonymous, the Fourth edition of the Spanish Language Big Book Alcohólicos Anónimos, and for the pamphlet AA for the Black and African American. You will find Letters with Instructions and deadlines on our Area 46 website in the password protected service page.
