Hello Area 46! Hope this report finds you well and in good spirits.
The start of this rotation has been a busy one! At the December assembly a motion was approved for the purchase of a new laptop to be used by the Registrar. I purchased the laptop and set it up for this rotation and future rotations to use.
I was given access to Fellowship Connection. Fellowship Connection is a General Service Office database for group record keeping. As Registrar I am able to update our Area records, view current information and to download reports. I have received some DCM change forms, GSR change forms, Group Change Forms and New Group forms and have begun entering those changes in Fellowship Connection.
DCMs can use their unique login to Fellowship Connection to generate and utilize reports listing the groups in your district, as well as the latest GSR contact data, including their email address and phone number. In short, you can use Fellowship Connection as a tool to reach out to groups in your district and keep our fellowship connected to A.A.
DCMs have received the Group Change forms by email and/or paper copies for the groups in their districts and the Group Change forms need to be updated and sent back to the Area Registrar by the deadline February 29, 2024. Once the updates are made in Fellowship Connection there will be a publication of the Area 46 Directory with the listing of all groups by districts, DCMs, trusted servants and past delegates.
I am in the process of working with the Technology Chair to update the Registrar page on the Area website. Stay tuned for updates to the webpage where you can find important various forms, updates, news and contact information.
