Registrar Report–February 2024

Registrar Report–February 2024

Hello, Area 46! I hope this report finds you well and in good spirits.

The months of January and February been busy.

In January I attended the Trusted Servant Orientation and learned a great deal. I also attended an orientation on the use of Fellowship Connection which is the GSO database used for group record keeping. I am getting more efficient in entering the new GSR information and Group Change Forms.

DCMs you have received the Group Change forms by email and paper copies for the groups in your district. Please distribute to your groups for the new GSRs to fill out and send back.  Group Change forms need to be updated and sent back to me the Area Registrar by the deadline February 29, 2024. Once the updates are made in Fellowship Connection there will be a publication of the Area 46 Directory with the listing of all groups by districts, DCMs, Trusted Servants, Committee Chairs and Past Delegates. The forms should be sent back to me at registrar@dev.aa-nia.org or mailed to me at:

GSRs when you fill out your change forms please write legibly. I encourage you to use the forms that are provided by your DCM or the Group Change Forms found on the Area Website on the membership page under the Trusted Servants/Registrar page. By using the correct forms, I will get the complete information needed.  I have received emails with incomplete information and am unable to update in Fellowship Connection. Once the data is entered your GSR information packets are sent out by the General Service Office.

DCMs you can use your unique login, which is the username and password used to order from the online bookstore on the General Service Office web page, to access Fellowship Connection database as a “read only” file to generate and utilize reports listing the groups in your district. In short, you can use Fellowship Connection as a tool to reach out to groups in your district and keep our fellowship connected to A.A. If you have questions or need help accessing Fellowship Connection, please contact me or GSO membership services.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the Pre-Conference Assembly to be held April 6th and 7th in Farmington at the McGee Park Convention Center, 41 Road 5568, Farmington, NM, and is being hosted by District 9. Please register for the assembly ahead of time, the link can be found at dev.aa-nia.org.

In Gratitude & Service
