Hello, Area 46!
I am so grateful to have seen everyone in person and online at the December Assembly. Thank you District 14 for hosting us! You all did an amazing job!
I want to thank Jen H. and Patience B. for helping with in-person registrations and Brian V. for handling the online registrations. I hope everyone had a positive experience checking in for the Assembly. We had a total of 205 attendees, 148 people in person and 57 online. Thank you to everyone for showing up!
We are looking for a volunteer to help with online registrations for future assemblies. If you are interested in attending the assembly from home/online and want to be of service, please contact me.
As your Registrar I am responsible for maintaining and updating the area’s confidential directory which lists all members of the assembly including Area Officers, Committee Chairs, DCMs, Past Delegates and all groups and GSRs within Area 46. Area 46 is made up of 19 districts with a total of 288 active in person meetings and 14 active virtual meetings.
I handed out Group Change Forms for the groups within their districts to each DCM at the December Assembly, for those who attended online I mailed the forms to you. Please have the GSR or contact for each group update the information. If no changes need to be made indicate on the form no changes are needed, if the group is no longer meeting or disbanded, please indicate this and update GSR and/or contact information and return by email registrar@dev.aa-nia.org or to the mailing address that is on each form. I am asking that those forms be sent back by the deadline: February 28, 2025, for the Area Directory to be as accurate and updated as possible. The directory will be finalized and ready for distribution at the 2025 March Pre-Conference Assembly.
Currently within New Mexico’s 19 Districts our group/meeting data is as follows:
- 288 active in person meetings
- 14 active virtual meetings
- 114 unknown meetings
- 14 incomplete meetings
Unknown and Incomplete meetings do not have a current GSR or contact person listed or have incomplete information.
