The New Website is Finally Here!
There are many new things to see and do on new website. For the next few months, I will share with you different aspects of the website. Also, keep an eye out on the A.A. Members page on the public site for links to short videos about the website.
The A.A. Members Page
As you may recall, the new site has three audiences. One of which is us, current A.A. Members. Think of this page as your “launching pad” for the website. It has links to the meeting list, the service site, speakers from past Area 46 State Conventions, information on how to get involved in service and links to the Big Book!
Events
Like before, the website posts A.A. events going on around Area 46. Within the new site, events are much more organized, and you get to see a month calendar view of events. Also in a special section, we will publish A.A. events from outside Area 46. You can find events inside and outside of Area 46 on the A.A. Members page.
The Area 46 Service Site
In addition to the launch of our new public site we also launched a new service site. This site is an excellent resource for A.A. Members who are already involved in service at the district or Area 46 level. It is also a great place to learn about A.A. general service and the various ways you can get involved.
Service Stories
We all had to get started in service somehow. Many of us were encouraged to serve by our sponsor and others in the program. We have collected stories form A.A. members who share their experience in being involved in service and how it enriched their sobriety.
Feel free to submit your own story of service or read the stories of others.
