Howdy AA folksters!
Exciting things are happening in District 2!
For starters, all our Service Chair positions have been filled! YEAH!! SUPER GRATEFUL for AA groups & members in our District for stepping up to serve for the greater good for all!
We had 22 peeps in attendance and 4 online at our February monthly meeting!
Our 2023 Proposed Budget was unanimously approved. SUPER YEAH! The juxtaposition of this is; since the pandemic seventh tradition contributions to District 2 have declined each year, therefore, last month we asked (strongly suggested by rolling out treasurer) all GSR’s to let their groups know that D2 needs financial support. This months treasurers report showed that contributions collected for January had doubled from previous years (including pre-pandemic). BLOODY MAGIC!
The DCM, alt DCM, and Registrar have been attending all our AA groups (54) getting registrations current to share with WSO, Area 46, Central Office and updating District 2 website & printed information.
Starting in March, District 2 will have a new zoom number. All are welcome at our monthly meetings – 2nd Thursday from 6.30-8pm. 6-6.30pm Tradition/Concept of the month.

Save the date – Saturday, March 18th 1.30-3pm District 2 will host our first event for the year – 12 Steps Panel & Potluck at the Friendship Club in Santa Fe. ASL interpreting services available & will be a hybrid event.
