Greetings fellow AAers!
We had a blast at our June District 2 buso meeting with 25 in attendance in-person and 4 online.
District 2 has voiced to continue Potluck at our business meetings, so if you happen to be in Santa Fe second Thursday of each month at 5.30pm, come over to the Friendship Club, grab a feed and join us! We would love to have you!
Our Alt DCM lead the discussion on the Tradition of the month for 30 minutes followed by our business meeting which lasted an hour.
GSR and Service committee chair reports were given. District 2 is on fire with the loving services that are pumping out from AA groups and committees. BLOODY SUPER!! ;D
The motion was approved unanimously from the District 2 GSR’s, for our fabulous Alt DCM (Franco S) to bid for the August 2024 Area 46 Assembly, at this coming August Assembly in Albuquerque. WE ARE SUPER EXCITED AS IT HAS BEEN IONS since District 2 hosted the last Assembly.
On Saturday our fabulous Area 46 Alt Delegate visited us to address the Spirit of Rotation – Tradition 9. We had 14 people in attendance with great discussions lead by Kerri K.
Sunday was the Founders Day Picnic up at Hyde Park which was well attended. Thank you to all those involved that made this happen as it has been the first time since the pandemic for this gathering, which made it even more special!
Saturday, July 11th – 1.30-3.30pm we have our fabulous Area 46 Delegate who will be giving us his General Service Conference report. This will be held at the Friendship Club and open to all.
