We have official dates for the SWACYPAA conference! It will be held August 17th-20th at the DoubleTree in downtown Albuquerque. Main Meetings on Friday and Saturday night will take place at the Convention Center next to the DoubleTree. Don’t forget to pre-register for SWACYPAA or buy a newcomer a scholarship for $25 at swacypaa9.org.
Want another way to support SWACYPAA? Sign your group up to host a meeting during the conference in August. Meetings will be every hour on the hour throughout SWACYPAA IX. Check out the sign up form at tinyurl.com/swac9meetings.
Our committee will host the annual AA-athalon on July 1st at North Domingo Baca Park in Albuquerque! The AA-athalon is an annual summer picnic event with fun and games and a speaker meeting, put on by this committee and typically co-hosted by other YPAA groups in Area 46. We’re already talking to some groups about co-hosting; if your YPAA group would like to co-host the AA-athalon with us, please reach out! We encourage any interested individual member or group to join us for our next committee meeting, or email me if you can’t make it but want to be included!
